Superfood Company reaches an almost 10% growth in 2017
Superfood Company, one of the biggest importers and distributors of infant care products, registered a turnover of around 21 million Euro (97 million RON) in 2017, thus attaining an almost 10% growth in comparison to the numbers registered in 2016 (with a turnover of just over 19 million Euro). For the current year, a turnover of approximately 22,5 million Euro is estimated due to the consumer growth trend in this sector, in Romania. The company has more than 25 years of experience in this niche.
The market of infant care products will continue to rise in 2018, as well. According to estimates from Superfood Company representatives, in 2017, infant food, general baby care products and products for mothers have reached a higher level of sales in comparison to the year of 2016, growing trend which is expected to continue this year as well.
“A global GDP increase is expected in 2018, an even more significant rise than in recent years. This will translate into a general increase in the consumption of goods.”
“Our evolution rate was a bit above the market level, so we have managed to rise the market share for many of our product ranges, among which we count Organix — ecological food products, and the infant care range from Baby Nova.” — Daniel Dărăban, CEO of Superfood Company
“Right now, many of the products in our portfolio are in the midst of an accelerated process of growth on the market, therefore 2018 will be a year of progress and consistent growth, presenting the opportunity for Superfood Company to consolidate its position on this essential niche.”, Daniel Dărăban, CEO of Superfood Company, has declared.
